CCF Tasmania State Awards Now Open!

In 2016, Tasmania’s Civil Contracting Industry’s Awards night will change. As well as continuing the traditional Earth Awards, CCF Tasmania is excited to announce our new State Awards which will recognise a broader range of our industry’s achievements.

EARTH AWARD CATEGORIES

The traditional Earth Awards will take the usual format. Projects are split into the following contract value categories:

Category 1 – project value up to $1 million  – SPONSORED BY VEC CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD

Category 2 – $1 million to $5 million  – SPONSORED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE GROWTH

Category 3 – $5 million to $10 million  – SPONSORD BY THE DEPARTMENT OF STATE GROWTH

Category 4 – $10 million to $30 million  – SPONSORED BY DIAL BEFORE YOU DIG

Category 5 – $30 million to $75 million  – no EoI’s received so far

Category 6 – more than $75 million  – no EoI’s received so far

The winners of each of these categories will represent Tasmania at the National Earth Awards to be held in Canberra on the 13th of October, 2016.

STATE AWARDS

Every day across Tasmania, skill, quality, innovation and dedication are demonstrated at unique and often challenging work sites.

To recognise the diversity of our state’s civil construction accomplishments, CCF Tas is this year introducing the following State Awards:

Equipment Operator of the Year – SPONSORED BY DIAL BEFORE YOU DIG

Commitment to Training and Skills Development (Employer) – SPONSORED BY FULTON HOGAN

Owner/ Operator of the Year  – SPONSORED BY KOMATSU AUSTRALIA P/L

Small Civil Contractor – North, East and North-West – SPONSORED BY VEC CIVIL ENGINEERING PTY LTD

Small Civil Contractor – South – SPONSORED BY KELLY CIVIL CONTRACTING

Trainee of the Year – SPONSORED BY FULTON HOGAN
