This is a formally accredited course developed to meet the responsibilities of the Tasmanian Workcover Authority as the statutory authority for administering the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004 and the Occupational Health and Safety Regulations 2007.

This Nationally recognised course, Work Safely in the Construction Industry (CI) is mandatory for all personnel who access construction sites and meets the condition of the OH&S Regulations 2007 for the requirement of workers on constructions sites to be registered.

What topics does the course cover?

OH&S Legislative Requirements, OH&S Communication and Reporting Processes, OH&S Incident Response Procedures and Construction Hazards and Control Measures.

What will you get out of it?

After successful completion of the 1 day training and assessment, you will receive a Statement of Attainment (valid for 60 days). This Statement can be used as evidence of training for the purpose of accessing a construction site.

Who should attend?

This is a mandatory course for everyone who has to have access to a construction site/work site.
