Women in Civil Pre-Employment Training Information Session

Looking for a meaningful and well-paid job using new skills?

Keen to join the workforce that is building Tasmania’s infrastructure for the future?

CCF Tasmania, together with Department of Communities Tasmania, TasTAFE and SERDA are running a pre-employment training program to upskill women to join the civil construction industry.

Training will commence in May 2022, and you’ll graduate the program in August 2022, undertaking work placements with employers.

You’ll graduate with all the skills needed to enter the Industry – one that is desperately seeking workers.

You’ll get all your Personal Protective Equipment, Medium Rigid drivers’ licence, Construction White Card, Traffic Management qualifications, First Aid, and several other formal qualifications. You’ll also be given support to be placed with employers, build your resume, develop interview skills and to find a job.

This is a free program, 2 days per week, held over 12 weeks (excluding school holidays) with real employment outcomes likely.

Information sessions will be held on 8^th March 2022 from 10.00 a.m.- 11.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m.  -6.00 p.m. – Sorell Memorial Hall Supper Room.
